Solemniko embraces the soft, slow and simple decadence found in small every day routines.
What began as a project in 2020 publishing people’s true stories has become so much more, but is still centred on empowering others to enjoy every day and change their lives in little ways.
I’m based in Dorset where I lead a slow little bumbling life filled with bouquets of flowers, dog cuddles, pub walks, scribbles in notebooks, long phone calls, the occasional stint of modelling for local indie businesses and plenty of reading.
Solemniko has grown and morphed through the years from a side hustle, to a full-time business that was shortlisted for not one but two awards in the South West finals Start-up Awards 2025, to something more quiet and soft pottering along in the background beside my full time job working in public libraries. I now only offer items on a made-to-order basis so that I get a better balance in my life. However I still love creating and planning projects.
Solemniko is about living thoughtfully, authentically and purposefully in connection to our surroundings. Because the more we connect with the real world, the better the connection with ourselves will be.
